Thanks all for your responses!
there is a 7500f + 9060xt 16gb pc they are offering for $10 less than the 5060 build above. the 9060xt is very comparable to the 5060ti performance wise and still offers the 16gb vram capacity which will help in keeping it usable for longer. the 7500f and 7700 are also quite comparable in gaming while being a tier faster than the 225f in cpu limited gaming.
Does this mean the 7500f+9060xt may be the best option out of the 3? Or is the 225f+5060ti still better?

invader should be able to help u upgrade almost anything on their checkout page other than ram and ssd (for unfortunate reasons), but even those are simple enough to diy. u can consider psu upgrade like networked mentioned, something like the silverstone et750g would be ok for a slightly better quality unit but not strictly necessary given the low overall power consumption.
Yea, I know they give upgrade options, but the difficulty is that I don't know whether a particular component is better or not. 😅
kinda depressing to see these used to cost a lot closer to $1k last year though :frown:

Hi all,

I'm choosing between 2 invaderpc specs just for normal gaming (Diablo 2 Resurrected, Diablo 4, maybe some WoW), and general use (e.g., watching YouTube, some Excel/Word/PowerPoint). Ok to play with 1080p, but would be great if these work for entry-level 1440p too.

I can't post links, so copy pasting the specs below.

Any pros and cons between the 2, or what would be your recommendation? If there are alternative more value-for-money specs, do also let me know. Also great if anyone can let me know if there are any easy upgrades that I can make on any components. Thanks!
If ur budget is ard this range, R7 7700 is a better choice. Just go for it.

for general use and games with less emphasis on nv features like d2/wow, the 7500f + 9060xt would be my go to. d4 has raytracing and dlss, but from what i can tell rt performance is still similar between the 9060xt and 5060ti. even if i wanted the geforce card, i would pony up the $30 or so for the 7500f + 5060ti they offer instead of settling for the 225f. it would be around $150 more expensive than the 9060xt build, so it is up to u whether the nv features are worth the ~10% premium.

generally the base options get the job done. ideally the ram could be tighter, but the option doesnt exist and it is already overpriced anyway. at this point, i feel psu and maybe mobo can be worth upgrading, though if u arent looking for anything specific then theres nothing wrong not upgrading either. u can shortlist a few upgrades along with the pricing and get some opinions before buying.
