Hmmmm, seems like S25 ultra camera isn't as good as S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra
Does it even matter?
Maybe a couple of updates would enhance it. iPhone, Google and some China brands are options if you're wanting the best and better, but what are you really looking for in a phone?

Yes, it is a matter.

Why would someone buy 'backward' technology or specs?

You are paying for higher price, so shouldn't expectation be higher?

Plus they also remove bluetooth stylus pen connection for taking photo. Are they moving forward or backward?

I'm looking for better camera in a phone

How so? Good enough can liao.

Only complaint is the shutter delay after pressing the button. Dunno why Samsung cannot fix this once and for all.
Paying for higher price, consumer expectation should be higher?

Unless it is something due to their UI processing for the image.

If there is a shutter delay, isn't this a slight 'disappointment' compare to 'older' phone? It should be 'wow, no complaint! The shutter is faster than the previous series'

Actually I find the camera quite ok, the stock colour science might be a bit off, but the new ability to edit filters fixed it easily and create the look I want.

If not happy then change phone. Complain also no use. I have iPhone too but both produce different colors. I am happy with both.

Is it more expensive than before? I thought with all the trade in and codes, should be cheaper if not the same?

If most people can accept it, then Samsung has done it right. There r always the few that will be unhappy. That's life.

I'm still considering whether to get S24 Ultra or S25 Ultra.

It's not about happy or not happy. It is about how Samsung should satisfy their customers.

Compare to buying online without trade in and codes, definitely new phone will price higher.

Should compare the price one paid for. Samsung way is to put rrp high but offers discounts here and there such that it becomes cheaper, unlike Apple that hardly gives any discounts.

As I've said, as long as Samsung satisfies most of their customers, they did their jobs.

Don’t defend them, they have to be criticised and accept criticism, there’s barely any innovations this time round. Hope the new guy will do better after replacing their current mobile chief. They have to do better than satisfying their users considering the pricing they are charging.

Indeed.

Otherwise, their next phone could be just new U.I with AI, new processor and that's all.

Like what Carl Pei said, I think I kind of agree with him somewhat, AI on mobile is BS I welcome hardware improvements any day. Some features like circle to search is useful only.

Even apple has reached the pinnacle. Samsung probably focusing on their foldables. Can't wait to see the fold7.
