Actually you say growth a lot is sinkies or fts?
Don't know, think both also have bah. Got that neighbourhood can find alot of foreign accents. But generally new housing estate tend have more young couples or families bah. The dynamics and demographics of Macpherson is going to change till don't know what with so many housing estates squeezed in there.

Whether win anot is another qn. But they know if chee get in will ask maybe even more qn than lmw and dig out more dirt which is why they want to avoid this at all cost.

True. I will vote for Chee if given the opportunity.

three-corner fights in Singapore politics – like ordering cai png and ending up with extra rice but no meat. Let’s break it down Singlish-style with humor and logic:

Why Opposition Like to Have 3-Corner Fights

  1. Ego & Ambition:
    • Some opposition parties anyhow think they’re the main character. "Eh, I also can win lah, no need to cooperate with others!" Like that how to win?
  2. Different Ideologies:
    • Opposition parties anyhow chut pattern with different agendas. Workers’ Party (WP) wants to be serious opposition, while others like PSP or SDP anyhow wayang with populist ideas. Like that how to cooperate?
  3. No Unity:
    • Opposition parties anyhow kiasu and kiasi (scared to lose). They don’t want to share seats or resources, so they anyhow split votes. Like that how to win?
  4. Underestimation of PAP:
    • Some opposition parties anyhow think PAP is weakand they can win even with a 3-corner fight. "Eh, PAP sure lose one lah!" But hor, reality check: PAP is like Michelin-star hawker – hard to beat.

Why 3-Corner Fights Help PAP Win

  1. Split Opposition Votes:
    • When opposition parties anyhow fight among themselves, PAP just sit back and collect votes. Like that how to win?
  2. First-Past-the-Post System:
    • In Singapore, the candidate with the most voteswins, even if it’s not a majority. So, if opposition votes anyhow split, PAP can win with just 40-50% of the votes. Like that how to lose?
  3. Confusion Among Voters:
    • Voters anyhow kancheong when there are too many choices. "Eh, WP or PSP ah? Both also not bad leh!"Then end up splitting votes and PAP wins. Like that how to win?

So can we expect the election to be called less than one month away as i dun think PAP will allow the oppo more time to do the hustings based on the released boundaries report.
Hopefully they don't disturb my vacation plans on April...
