The sentiment on the ground is very quiet

Tan See Leng can stir up drama
Lee Hsien Loong can stir up debate

Everyone is just quietly waiting for that day to cast their silent vote
Broo everyone silent cuz waiting for nomination day..

This is actually a fact. I came in to this thread to say that it is ironic how the person who pulled down the % in 2011 is now pulled back to bring it up in 2025.

P.S. I’m not “pro-establishment” :s8:

I reckon the new Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC is now a safe PAP seat following the incorporation of MacPherson SMC into the GRC.

However, the trade-off is that the new East Coast GRC is now very winnable for the WP, especially because it contains the former Joo Chiat SMC, which is historically pro-opposition.

The Changi parts of East Coast have been carved out and merged with Pasir Ris but those areas were less accessible anyway and with their removal, the WP can focus their campaign on a smaller area, which in turn makes it easier to reach out to as many voters as possible.

Feel bad for CSJ sia. So close yet so far. Now he needs to form a good team to contest in the new GRC. Hopefully he will have Paul on his side.

Will we see another Tan Cheng Block? :s13:

Fu, responding to the EBRC report on Mar. 11, noted the changes, and gave her assurance to residents that her commitment to them "remains unwavering", saying she would continue engaging them.

Fu could potentially serve as the new anchor minister for the new Jurong East - Bukit Batok GRC.
