Just sharing my observations abt new Sinkie colleagues and my FT colleagues

the working standards is different, they are less chill

ask question is doing a proper job .....

ask question and come up with five solutions is very good ......

ask question, come up with three solutions, help company save 1 million is excellent.....

so ... it's not "very competitive".... ish EDMW mindset fiaks up

I was once in the tech sector working with some unknown nation. This group of people is good at asking questions and overpromising but under delivering.

it was never a competition. when fts are stationed here, they tend to be willing to work longer and more committed to work more than their life unlike singaporeans here. the only thing that why coys prefer to hire ft than locals is because of this generally. if you say most of the FTS are smarter and more street smart than locals, i don't think so la.
