it was never a competition. when fts are stationed here, they tend to be willing to work longer and more committed to work more than their life unlike singaporeans here. the only thing that why coys prefer to hire ft than locals is because of this generally. if you say most of the FTS are smarter and more street smart than locals, i don't think so la.

More committed and dedicated?

Going forward, even more harder to get a decent salary job
All not belong to us anymore.
Need to vote wisely soon.
Else the govt assumes sinkies are easily contended to farm in sg regardless of the hiring situation.

FT is all very smart and hungry and ask a lot of questions

No more Good old days where sinkie can just sit in a pantry and chat about kid, family, maid or go where to have fun in weekend...then slowly go to meetings
becos locals are just plain lazy and entitled.
prove my earlier post why i prefer FT workers

i am local, and i just speaking the truth

They are very daring to be aggressive in a foreign land. May be only our land allows it but I'll never allow them to do it to me.

Did u read the context properly?

This is professional workplace setting, ie aggressive to learn and do more.

Imagine you jodless in Singapore where average wage is $7K, and got one country open leg big big call you talent let you take $30K jod.

You will of course do your best to appear on the ball and worthy of being called talent.

And play tricks to get the real local talents out of your way before they call your bluff.

And whole day whole night think of ways to surround yourself with even more fellow foreigners who will watch each other's back.

I know my place, I cannot win their long hours and willingness to sacrifice health. I can only focus on other points which I know my boss will appreciate and LL need one. They have their advantage I also have my advantage 😁

The workplace is toxic and competitive because everyone is there for PERSONAL SURVIVAL

Don’t mistake colleagues as friends even if they appear friendly.

All of you are gathered in the same place as mere coworkers earning salary only.

Not there to hold hands sing song wear flower on hair.

The earlier you realise this the more protection you have from being makan
