Huh what you mean ?

If FRS is 200K but I only have 190K in both OA and SA combined I can't take out the 90K after opting for the 100K BRS ?

can, once if u pledge your local property u can do that . withdraw down to BRS.. or i think u can withdraw a one time only "5000" if you havent reach ur FRS

I can retire already but there seems to be some momentum going on such that I just continue working and continue my life as it is. I have not developed a concrete plan for my retirement yet.

The only difference is financially, I feel a lot more relaxed as there is still pay coming in every month and I can do whatever I want with this additional money.

Sadly no .. they give u withdraw a good will gesture "5000.00" that's it... cause FRS is the line.. u can only withdraw watever excess.. if u haven't reach.. then 5000

but if u pledge your property.. you can withdraw down to BRS.

i feel so too.. it's better you build up a passive income.

Please don't work until you cannot walk already.. then where is the life to enjoy.
How much passive income enough to quit/retire ? $5k ? $10k ? $20k ?!?

Continue my relax sidelines 1-2k

Without touching my capital and savings then at 65 draw monthly frs to add on

Oh yeah 3 months before your payout

there is 3 plans for you to choose

1. Standard Plan (A fix amount for life, i think once u reach 80 or 90 , i can't remember which age, ur bequest fund will be empty)
2. Basic (less monthly payout about 100 to 200 lesser, but more bequest fund (can be up to 100,000 different from standard plan)
3. Escalating (I think the payout grew buy 2% each year .. until some amount , can't remember. )

i think standard is best for single , unless u like to leave something for someone or escalating plan if u still wish to work.

CPF life payout can also postphone to 70 year old.. the payout will grew 6% each year

u all also do your own research my info may be outdated or figure is not correct

How much it's enough to quit , really depend on your expense.. how much are u using a month when working ? Do you spend more on the weekend ? then u can agar agar.. usually is more or same than when u are working.. Learn something when u retire.. a musical instrument.. get back to building gundam, play the lastest fifa games.

everyone know we are the most no nonsense , hardworking bunch.

Approaching retirement soon, ur have FRS and fully paid flat / condo or whatever..

Do you plan to hold on to your stressful job until 55 or 65 ? or change to a very sin lang job ? or fully retired ?

sin lang job - only available if being your own boss.…. :ROFLMAO:
