Ish Singapore n Malaysia the only two countries in the whorl that hab no earthquake?

Malaysia has earthquakes too, especially east Malaysia.

The earthquake Bangkok encountered is tremors from the Myanmar earthquake, just that the tremors are serious enough to cause damages.

Singapore and West Malaysia can also feel tremors from Indonesia earthquakes, and hopefully the intensity, ground structure, etc etc. can prevent serious shaking.

East Malaysia got earthquake, esp Sabah. Remember the Tanjong Katong Primary School students and teachers who went on a school trip to Mount Kinabalu and died there back in 2015?

Hearsay old HDB flats can withstand up to 7 or 7.5 earthquake. New ones 5 or 5.5. Can’t remember liao..

they do experience earthquake, just not often. but this big earthquake do make one feel uncomfortable about their building, especially, most are unlikely to be build with quake tolerance.

So many SG BTO 40++ storeys.. damn worried.

Saw a visible line cracks at my next blk BTO (3+yrs) outside their corner bedroom since day 1.

Long Cracks now move towards the bedroom with the monsoon annually... When heavy rain, can see the side facade full of rain n flowing onto the crack.
