Actually more like pap wipeout according to edmw, with pap losing east coast, marine parade, punggol, west coast

Wipeout means lose majority in parliament leh....

If that's the case, they will still retain majority in parliament :)

West coast was also a very strong PAP stronghold before Dr Tan came
Only those people living there who saw the interactions would know what's PSP chances. Note last time PAP high votes 1) Tharman, he is now president and cannot come to canvass votes 2) opponent is RDU

They need to focus on 1 GRC. PAP seems to try and tempt WP to go for many places, if WP too spread out they will win nothing.
Yes that's the feeling I got when I saw the EBRC report released.

Seems like PAP is tempting wp to spread themselves thin and go different areas, jus like in GE2015.

Actually what's the point of being born in XXX when the election boundaries can just get redrawned?

Then grcs like aljunied is not even in aljunied.
i think opposition member got one .. did a standup comedy one-liner..

"I went back to my home in Serangoon yesterday. When I woke up today, I found myself in Tampines."
something along that line

Best SMC among the worst bro
I dont disagree la. West and north side mostly PAP stronghold. Nothing winnable.

But he probably should have considered Jalan Kayu although that will go against the northern strategy. Is just suay they chose the north.

psp West more winnable. wp east had been successful every 5 years to expand.

“We started walking the ground the moment COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. In fact, for Elmie, myself and Theodora, we have been walking the ground for the past three to four years,” added Dr Lam Pin Min.

GE2025: Sengkang GRC MPs to continue to speak up on key issues like jet noise, lack of coffee shops
https://www.straitstimes.com/singap...ops?_nei=246d5cf7-c98d-4558-90af-5a0b37c19610

highlights:
SINGAPORE – The three incumbent Workers’ Party MPs in Sengkang GRC on March 29 assured residents that they will continue to be a voice for those living in the area for as long as they remain elected representatives.

Speaking during a town-hall meeting, MPs He Ting Ru, Jamus Lim and Louis Chua said they have raised concerns flagged by Sengkang residents in Parliament over the years, from the lack of coffee shops in the area to the noise from fighter jets taking off and landing at nearby Paya Lebar Air Base.

The MPs were addressing the more than 50 residents who turned up for the town-hall meeting, which was held at a multipurpose hall in Compassvale Link, near Buangkok MRT station.

The meeting is part of a series of regular forums organised by the Sengkang MPs since 2022. Called Sengkang Conversations, it is for residents to discuss national and local issues.

During the event, residents also spoke up on other municipal and national issues. There was, for example, a suggestion for necessities to be exempted from the goods and services tax, as well as calls for greater scrutiny over government spending.

There was also a discussion about how to resolve neighbourly disputes.

In Anson by election in 1981, PAP fielded a new guy and he became the first PAP candidate to lose an election.

He was offered to contest in another constituency in 1984 which he declined.

He quit politics totally. We respect his decision.

Thata the difference between old and new PAP.

nothing to do with that bah.
you know there are some who reluctantly stand for election just because they were requested to?

so these people will serve a term or two and drop out.

anson's might be that guy's lucky day, don't need to serve at all!
