Actually most parties already have a rough idea where they are contesting and already started sending their men and women on the ground to distribute their party newsletters etc riaos so is like indirectly you know but they are not announcing it until the time is right

GE2025: 'Always a challenge' to win back a GRC, says PAP Sengkang team's Lam Pin Min

Asked about the value they will bring to residents, Dr Lam said that the new team is much younger and has "a lot of passion".

Suicide squad.

Seems like having a good life after election lost. No pity on him.

After his electoral defeat in the 2020 general election, Lam joined Eagle Eye Centre as chief executive officer and Director of the Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Service, and Senior Advisor of Lumens Auto on 1 September and 27 October 2020 respectively.[8]

WP is very active in Marine Parade, seen them 2 times this year already, seems they are intent to take down Marine Parade and now Tin Tin don't do walkabout so much
What I can infer from Pritam FB post is that...

WP was gunning for another GRC in GE2025... And I belive that was MP GRC all along...

The radical inclusion of MacPherson was a counter defence by PAP...

Between LT and CSJ, I take CSJ, CSJ has temperament control when kena pressurized, LT is a out of control all the time.
Lim Tean is a clown. I wonder who are his financial backers that he can get fined and forfeit his deposit all the time.

Now that kar chang puteh party insist on contesting Potong Pasir too.

Actually more like pap wipeout according to edmw, with pap losing east coast, marine parade, punggol, west coast
I also hope that happens but it is very unlikely, I don't see WP winning any more seats or the PSP winning in the west.

WP or PSP winning another grc hope is less than 30% after the gerry. And they this time round dont have any special new candidates.

But tbh I also dont think csj will be the best performing loser to get into parliament. He chose a constitution thats a PAP stronghold to compete
I don't know why people think WP will win Marine Parade, the way the boundaries have been drawn I think it is even harder than ever.

Macpherson has traditionally been a PAP stronghold. Not to mention WP did lose Nicole Seah, another popular figure.

Yes, that's why the incumbent understand humans' weakness. Humans like free stuff, and sell their souls to whoever can provide free stuff.

However, in order to do that, you need to have deep pockets. That's why opposition will never have the chance because they are too poor. Just looked at Musk's sponsorship for Trump in the 7 swing states. US$1m lucky draw for anyone who voted for Trump in the 7 swing states. In the end, Trump really conquered all the 7 swing states.

Opposition needs to get billionaires sponsorships/donations, else they will never have a chance to do the same as the incumbent.
No sane billionaire will help opposition lol
It will affect their business

Yup. Double Whammy for WP.

I think WP will consider it a successful campaign if they can hold on to everything they have. Tampines they sure can't win on their first try with a suicide squad, MP is absolutely terrible for them after the boundaries drawn. East Coast chance weaker by quite alot without Nicole Seah.

I am pretty sure this election will be status quo, no parties will make any inroads and WP will just keep their seats. The boundaries makes the challenge pretty much impossible now. The election is already won through gerrymandering

Status quo probably means PSP would be out of Parliament. The GRC redrawn probably means WP will have a closer %.
For SMC, perhaps Tambyah have chance if Liang eng hwa do not run due to health reasons.
