Healthcare (XLV) and Biotech (XBI) are down despite the rest rebound with green.

Looks like the hammer coming down on the sector from Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
DHHS budget cuts, mass staff purging, major regulatory changes.... better stay away.

Nov 15, 2024: I noted this:
This is the new US Secretary of Health just confirmed by Trump for 2025.
XLV (Healthcare) crash continues (since Trump's win).

We're at the final push up of an epic bull market since Oct 2022. And big pharma's profits are about to get eviscerated.

They fight trade war all the way, the rest die first. China companies all killing one another for a piece of their domestic market. Out of China, I doubt they make much money. Just like Taobao. Sometimes ok, sometimes ****. Still like 50-50%. Lazada and Shopee quality are more stable

Global economy is far bigger than the US economy, no country can afford to fight trade war with the whole world.

Healthcare (XLV) is one of the best performing sectors ytd, in fact SP500 ex-mag7 is actually flat ytd. Most of the market damage came from large outward facing US tech companies.
