I somehow don't believe the current futures pricing will stick at the cash open. The BTFD crowd is still alive and I am sure Trump admin will saying some soothing around the cash open.
BTFD crowd will all be rushing to exit instead

Trump may not flip flop so soon until Arch enemy Powell do a 50bps emergency cut

Sharp price spike will cause overall consumption to drop, which will in turn hit the economy. There are also other second order effects like retaliation, boycott, etc.
Trump accelerate multi polar world order

He made those numbers up. Many of the countries on the table have nearly zero (or zero) tariffs on US goods, also Trump conflating VAT with tariffs is just stupid. VAT applies to all goods and services consumed within the country, even ones that are produced domestically, it cannot be considered a trade barrier.

Trump is a literal fool, he was only good for the stock market during his first term because that was all he cared about, but like I said some time ago this is no longer the case.
Mai talk cock la. All these are published data lei. Cannot have that mentality like opposition.

Js like some say oil cannot fall below $60

Silver miners gone case if silver crash to $20-25
Using wrong analogy with oil. US can produce more oil and gas than it needs now. But the AI boom now means US may not have enough oil and gas to power the AI DCs being planned.

Import > export

Those countries import > export but still kena should charge usa 10% also..

Likely to be a global market sell off starting with Asia and then moving on to Europe.

Looking like false alarm. Market holding up remarkably well. Also while down, there doesn't seem to be any panic selling in the Asian markets.

Rotation continues... DXY just broke its support 103.2
Currency and bond market cannot be manipulated so easily. USD weakness is the first confirmation. implying either less demand for USD, or dovish Fed policy ahead. (Strongest currency: 1. Euro, 2. CHF, 3. JPY).
Next, UST 10yr yield drop also confirmed, from 4.2% to 4.05%.

Does this translate to less global growth and global economic depression?
