those who disclose too early may think they have first mover advantage, but may backfire as people will for sure make preparations to defend their positions

WP and PSP are smart in playing chess and not disclose their trump cards too early in order to make PAP guessing and the small parties to lose deposit. The small parties thought they can scare WP/ PSP by announcing where they want to contest early but in the end withdraw in most places which WP/ PSP contest as they cannot afford to lose their deposit.

The term "oppies" needs to be defined.

"Oppies" cover a wide spectrum of people. Some strongly oppose the ruling party, others may moderately oppose and those who slightly oppose.

Aside from the "feelings", there is also the voting choice which may be in inverse correlation with the "feelings".
The leading expert on this is Kenny Jeyeratnam.

To make matters more complicated, there are those who pretend to be "oppies" to remain friends with their opie friends especially the more attractive crowd.

It is NOT healthy for the company as it has no diverse expertise of their members.
A good company comprises members of different abilities and qualifications to do well.
Just like our fingers aren’t of the same length to work well for us.
It is NOW or never to have sg Voice for a check and balance since WP has a team of credible candidates.
We don’t want oppo for the sake of oppo.
We want our Voice heard and they being checked .

Maybe you need to ask your Comrade Tan See Leng on what is MOM's definition of Locals wor......
