If like that cut GST, our MIW will not be able to look forward to big bonus and all public services have to be more trim and efficient....no more easily approved million dollars rubbish centre, cut back all the festive seasons posters/banners with new clothings for photo taking every PH, no more posters every where proclaming how our public transportations system is moving us quickly so that we have more time for tea etc etc

I think opp parties are stupider than we think they are. Good chance these 3 GRCs AMK, Sembawang, Tampines will have 3 or more ways fight due to them not wanting to let their egos down.

AMK both might retain deposit, but just barely.

Sembawang NSP confirm chop lose deposit.

Tampines PPP will quietly bow out and say they focus on AMK, then NSP will lose deposit.

Punggol SDA won't contest, they will just focus on Pasir Ris as they not so big anyway and dunwan lose deposits.

For SMCs, as long as SDP or WP not involved, the 3 ways don't really matter.

the groundwork in SK is very strong, am actually more worried for Aljunied though i would say they have a good margin to lose and still win

When asked what would happen to the master plan should the town council change hands in the upcoming election, Josephine Teo, Member of Parliament and anchor minister for Jalan Besar GRC, acknowledged that a change in the constituency’s incumbent party is possible and that the team would “respect the residents’ choices”.

But “the question of whether they are familiar enough with the town, the question of whether they know what our residents want, will certainly be something to keep in mind”, she said.

Marine parade is a tough fight for WP.
They tried a few times already.
Perhaps better for them to consolidate their position in sengkang first and look for another grc to contest instead.

Last GE with Jenn Jong + 4 unknowns they already can secure 43% vs TCJ + ET.

Now there is no more TCJ no more ET, leaving behind two very hated arrogant old men in TSL and SKP.

If there is any place I would say "ground is ripe", it will be Marine Parade.

And PAP knows - that's why we see all the goodies only Marine Paraders get.

A team comprising LLL/ SL + Harpreet + Ron Tan + Fadli + Nathaniel/ Jeraldine (Jenn Jong will likely follow Joo Chiat and contest in East Coast) will have a very solid chance.

There is always this MASTER PLAN whenever an election coming. And every time is the same old story which doesn't really benefit me. Therefore I give no damn about the plan anymore.

Over promise, under deliver.
Now seems like MPs also inteferring with MND, LTA, HDB ... etc plans.

If planned by the relevant agencies, any change of MPs will not affect the plans.
