In country to country politics there is only benefits. Our gov investment in Suzhou only mistake is they naive to think that any country gov will allow another country to take the lion share and earn more.

This is what happened to Suzhou. Spore is the major shareholder vs China. Once lky realised the problem, that y Spore gov surrender the major shares to China and the park take off.

The underlying condition is the local gov of the project need to be the major holder. This is just human nature.. not exclusive to China or any countries.

I haven't been (actually avoiding) looking at the stocks for a while since my FIL passed on last month. A week before, it was a classmate's mom. A week later, it's an aunt of mine.

Last week was our family doctor for over 40 years. He's father seemed to be quite famous. Cheong Chin Nam Road was named after him.

Sigh.

Well, Seems I'm down about 2.5 million since the peak in December. I don't care anymore.

All I do every day now is binge Netflix, Prime and anti-ccp propaganda on Youtube.
