As individual it's very hard to manage a SMC. How you going to manage a TC? Remembered last time even WP as a quite big party also kena so jialat by managing the AHTC? The resources required don't think individual is able to handle that? Just my thought.
Exactly these are the questions that will come up and he is not prepared to address it from the looks of it

With a party having super majority is more likely to have retirement plans disturbed. Better to have more opposition voices more robust debate before making any decisions.

IMO the only "meaningful" thing they do is to provide suicide squads to keep the incumbent semi-busy during GE.

I think we have so any minor oppies not because we have so many diverse views but because each one is headed by a big ego character who cannot play 2nd fiddle and think too highly of themselves.

In the grand scheme of things, these minor oppies are probably a net negative because they continue to fuel the stereotype of oppies being clowns.
Waste of time actually and should be funded by closet pap supporters who just want to dilute votes of opposition

Now policies are good for retirement. Moi donch huan any more goal post shifting. Withdrawal at 55 and 65 needs to stay so so that retirement plans can stay as it is and not be disturbed. Having super majority means they can swiftly change it. Hope that do not happen. :( but having more opposition would at least slow that down...

Think in general if work from ground up will know. That is one mark of a good leadership. The ability to dumb down message and instruction into few simple words that most, if not all can understand, regardless of their education and background.

Something which think many of the incumbent lacking. No matter how humble they say they are. When they speak, the heavy use of technical jargons and ambiguous meaning to words, serve more to confuse people.

They are speaking elite talk. It reflects how they don't trust the people to know what's right, only they know best. Thus, doesn't matter as much people get it or not. Just take it or leave it.
I dun see any humble, responsible, transparent and accountable servant for the past 4 years.
How they dealt with their mistakes and how they repaired the other side.
How they addressed the concerns raised by LMW.
How their volunteers behave in public.
How many of them attended the few meetings.

I guessed some one can edited a video and show it on one of the rallies as a reminder.
End with the canto lecture by Rambo Tan.

We can't let such serious things be said about somebody and have somebody leave with a cloud permanently hanging over him, and a question mark," the PM said. "It would set a very damaging precedent that you can condemn somebody and write him off on the basis of an Internet campaign."

He added: "We don't have time to settle it now, but we can't simply write off and destroy people like this."

Above was as per mother ship headlines.
Just noticed it becomes

more like whether that guy was targeted unfairly or was it a smear campaign, because he seems like the perfect candidate from humble background making good under the system, but turned out he was also a jerk.

guys no need to think too much. other than aljuneid, will be clean sweep for incumbent and we will get 5 more years of what have been getting thus far, probably in an even more painful way. people got short term memory loss when going to the ballot box

Disagree..

This yr PAP can potentially lose 1-2 GRC/SMC more..
East Coast + West Coast vulnerable , reflecting gradual erosion of support for PAP

Overheard some boomers chatting at the Kopitiam. One Dr Tan, who has an ah Beng hairstyle, will also be booted out by LW. Who is the Dr Tan with the Ah Beng hairstyle?
