re lululemon, sure, has the Chinese innovate on what to produce and make such nice product as at now on their own? it's the input and design from the west plus the workmanship and experience that give them the current product quality.

can the Chinese work on it and make it even better in the future? hard to say yes or no.

usually, the west design or innovate, east copy and make it better via cheaper etc. this was the past, future, also unknown, that's why the war for innovation is really heating up for AI!

For EV, Chinese has won it so far with the decent quality and low price. They lost it a few years ago with BYD m6 or something, a junk.

If made in anywhere other than stated country of France or Italy , it means they are cheating own consumers and the world

If they're cheating, it's not a minor issue.
Some of the brands are listed companies .
It will literally kill the brand if it's substantially made in China & they just machine glue a label saying made in France. Said label probably made in Cameroon

It's not only lose money by brand
The brand or parent company probably have to pay millions to regulators which will be peanuts when a class action lawsuit from customers come

I watched the guy other videos (now his account was banned), he said they are the manufacturer of these handbags~ the bags are sent back to these branded companies for the final logo badge and packaging~ it then printed the wordings made in Italy, France etc~

How true was it, I'm not sure~

There will be willing buyers for luxury brands, as those willing to pay for imitation/counterfeits.

At least they know what they are paying for

The kumgong ones pay heavily marked up imitation products which came from the same low cost production factory in China but with some brand pasted on it, like Sier**, Secr** L**.

Dont be suprised send almost completed goods to Europe then they add the finishing touch by hand sewing the very satki and exp logo onto it by their very skillful craftsman....

But then .. those ppl buy it exactly for the brand and paid for the brand. There is no way to justify how can a handbag cost few to ten of thousands dollars on manufacturing cost.

But i remember i saw a youtube before of an Italy town famous for making hi end leather bags, all of the workers inside are Chinese . They did not bs and say make for what brands ..etc . But there are many small outlets there and they oem for many brands. The video seem genuine and it show the people working.

Each outlet is a small independent workshop run by just a few persons and run within like a small family biz.
