It is the party that has the majority in parliament that can decide everything.

The party with minority can decide nothing.

This is Singapore's system.

Just stating the fact.

I am not indicating any support for any one party to be clear.

Yeah, as seen by the majority party deciding to lose Aljunied GRC in 2011 and Sengkang GRC in 2020.
Use brain lah.

Parliament dissolved nia, the individual ministers will still be working daily.

By the law cannot...Polling day cannot be earlier than the 10th day of campaign or later than the 56th day after nomination day.


earliest is 3rd May liao....
Technically still can on 2-may unless public holiday not counted, problem is may-1 is labour day then may clash with cooling day if polling day is on 2-may. So my guess is also 3-may
