I am brewing soup now...

Other than water, 90% of the ingredient is snow fungus, 8% is wolfberry and 2% is rock sugar.

I am thinking if I should cut down the snow fungus proportion by half and add in more wolfberry/rock sugar, or add in some honey dates for variety purposes

Any opinions ??

i want the soup to be sweeter. u know snow fungus by itself has no taste right...

if u got apple or pear + pork ribs(if u want savory), add salt to taste. u will get natural sweetness soup

My mother's:
70% snow fungus, 30% jujube; no sugar added, all comes from the jujube

Whole mouthfuls of jujube, so it's not my favourite proportion. Granted, this is a dessert.
