They are paid millions, cannot be using this excuse to absolve blame all the time.

Using this logic, then all the blame can be directed to LHL and now LW since they are the main persons who give the Yes/No(s) as head-of-state.

What I was trying to say is that we cannot be sure that policies originate from particular ministers since what transpires in cabinet meetings is secret. We are not sure if such policies were the result of a collective decision or imposed from someone with absolute power. Instead of getting personal we should focus our criticism on the policies themselves and not the ministers concerned. I have always stated that a party's performance in an election is very much dependent on the leader of the party. And being a democracy, we have general elections every few years for the electorate to exercise their democratic rights. We have to live with our decisions. If we choose to have PAP in power, we give them the mandate to decide what is good for us. We should not complain thereafter.
