PAP’s Nee Soon GRC candidates have arrived at Nee Soon East Seniors' Hub, greeting and taking photos with the pavilion full of supporters.

Yesterday, incumbent Nee Soon GRC MP K. Shanmugam announced that he would be helming a refreshed PAP team that consists of Mr Syed Harun Alhabsyi, Mr Jackson Lam, Ms Lee Hui Ying and Ms Goh Hanyan.

WP’s female prospective candidates posed for a quick photo outside the town council office.

Asked how she was feeling, WP party chair Sylvia Lim gave a thumbs up and said: “I’m good. Nice to see you again!”

Meanwhile, WP’s Sengkang team, comprising incumbents Jamus Lim, He Ting Ru, Louis Chua and new face Muhaimin Abdul Malik have boarded a white coach headed to the nomination centre with their supporters.

Just a quick question, is it possible for someone to send a decoy team to submit nomination papers, while the actual nominees are a different group listed on the forms? As I understand it, the key requirement is the submission of the nomination papers themselves, not the physical presence of the nominees, right?

Why would he, of all people, support PAP?

they never support and recognise him prior to his gold medal.

When he won gold medal, they are quick to jump and claim involvement.

And finally when his performance starts deteriorating, they are quick to discard him and made him go through NS even though IMO winning Singapore it's first Olympics Gold Medal is already a form of National Service.

He might just been a candidate.

Heng Chee How spotted at PAP’s Chua Chu Kang branch

Mr Heng Chee How was spotted at PAP’s Chua Chu Kang branch at about 10.20am.

He announced last week that he will be stepping down from the Jalan Besar GRC, after serving the Whampoa ward for 27 years.

When previously asked if Mr Heng will be retiring or be fielded in another ward, the Jalan Besar team’s anchor minister Josephine Teo said everything is still open and it is for Prime Minister Lawrence Wong to decide.
