Yes Punggol resident have been waiting for WP to contest but WP alway skipped this GRC

If you have went for the previous election rally held at Punggol field and seen the turn out, you will be shocked

Time wasn't ripe.

Punggol GRC was not its own GRC all the while except this time.

It was always Punggol Pasir Ris GRC so it might be a factor for WP to back out last elections.
