since this is a huge battleground - please raise key points at rally

1. cost of living - even if contributed partially by global inflation, what is the real need to up GST; and 2 times for the matter? prices are sticky and not coming down

2. if want to really do something about it; how about non GST on essentials e.g. medical care. is it really needed to build a extra buffer for 'x' years later given the surplus in tax revenue.

3. on an online podcast, it was mentioned humans react to instant/near gratification. so be more 爱国爱民. how about controlling local HDB prices which should be well within what can be done?

WP doesn't stand a chance at East Coast this GE as much as I want them to.

There is no star power now unlike Nicole Seah in the previous GE.

Nicole Seah and her team (who were basically unknowns) managed to get 46% of the votes in 2020. This was against a strong PAP team that included a DPM, MOS and an experienced MP who was in Parliament since 2006. It was an awesome result.

Imagine what could happen if one of Pritam or Sylvia along with any of the star studded new faces were to be in EC this GE? I would say WP will win.

I'd rather vote for more opposition in parliament to hold em accountable then some DPM that is gonna be there for 5 only years

2020, wp kicked one minister, one mos, one snr parl sec out.

Same year, they reduced pap vote to 53.39% despite whitey last min parachute dpm / PM designated to the grc.

So why cannot afford to kick out one minister and SMS in 2025?
