𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐘 – 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐄 𝐔𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝟓 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒.
You’ll see us much earlier than that!
The Workers’ Party team in Punggol is just getting started.
We may not have won the seat this time, but your response — in Punggol and throughout Singapore — has been overwhelming.
What we’ve heard, again and again:
“Please don’t stop.”
“Please come back.”
“Please continue the fight.”
To that, we want to say — from the bottom of our hearts: Thank you!
To our incredible volunteers. To the many residents in Punggol and well-wishers across Singapore. To those who came forward to help, to speak up, to walk with us — we heard you. And we are with you.
The Punggol WP team will continue our groundwork and outreach initiatives in the weeks & months ahead. Because meaningful change takes more than just 9 days of campaigning — it takes years of commitment, presence, and continuity. That’s the WP way.
And if you’ve been thinking about stepping forward to play your part — now’s the time. We’ll need all hands on deck if we are going to collectively make the impact all of us hope for.
So please sign up here to volunteer:
wp.sg/volunteer and we will be in contact with you before too long.
One more thing…
One commentator said this of me recently:
“Unfortunately, Harpreet Singh is 59 and probably has one more election in him…”
Well, well, well…
I’m sorry, but you don’t know me, bro.
I’m in good health, good shape, and (touch wood) I plan to be here for a long, long time! Just ask the many younger volunteers who had trouble keeping pace on the campaign trail.
Let’s just say — you’re not getting rid of me that easily.
We ran this race to serve our country. And that calling doesn’t end with the election. We do not just turn up every five years.
So, let’s walk this road together — with hope, with humour, and with heart.
PS – I’ll be taking a short break with family. You’ll hear from me again very soon. Meanwhile, blessings to all of you!
I hope to see many more of you signed up as volunteers by the time I’m back.
Let’s shape the future together!
