I went and observed Andre over at the Fernvale hawker for a while. Generally, I put the interactions as neutral, and gravitating towards the positive side. But this don't necessarily translates to votes, nor do I think that the voters know him enough to swing to the other side.

For him to have a chance, it will not be on his personal appeal but rather something that actively pushes voters away from NCM.

You have to ask, why would Fernvale voters go to NCM anyway, just because he is from the PAP?

NCM has never been associated with Fernvale before.
