It was a special evening chatting with residents at Fernvale Hawker Centre. Some interesting questions also cropped up along the way yesterday:

How will WP proposals help mid-career professionals meet the skills challenge of a changing job market?

We think that we should refine the government's SkillsFuture program, making it more flexible with an Interest-Free Education Loan to help Singaporeans who want to take on more costly, in-depth courses, including those offered at universities. We should also allow credits to be used for AI subscriptions!

A young family also asked if we could develop a dog run in the Fernvale area.

On the bright side, Fernvale and Jalan Kayu do have quite a few green spaces! If elected, we will look into ideas like these seriously with systematic engagement with residents, which is what Sengkang Town Council did when developing the new dog run in Rivervale.
