I was at WP rally last night, I don't think the residents are angry enough to vote out PAP.

SXL very popular in Punggol West, her ward because she is really hands on and on the ground a lot.
She won 61% in GE 2020 against WP

GKY - dunno his popularity in punggol coz he parachuted

Janil - not sure about him and his ground work, never follow

Other new person, dont know who also coz i never follow

WP 4 new faces led by Harpreet and also got the popular Alexis Dang. WP got some ground work at Punggol West but not much presence for rest of punggol because it was part of PAP stronghold - Punggol Pasir Ris GRC helmed by TCH who has since retired.

So biggest question is can SXL + GKY carry Punggol GRC? hard to predict....its a really tough fight

It's very very possible looking at how things are now ...

There's every chance that sengkang and aljunied will be lost back to the pap ... and wp cannot win a new grc,

it is also very likely that PAP get a clean sweep and Oppo left only with Hougang.

Of all the PAP candidates in Punggol GRC, the only one that I have never heard of is Yeo Wan Ling. At first, I thought she was a new candidate under PAP. Turns out she already entered politics since 2020. Haven't even heard of her speeches in Parliament, that's how under the radar she has been flying.

with the jerry mandarin, incumbent will probably at least retain their seats from previous election. Even if the total vote counts in their favour drop. And that is in the worst case scenario for them. Might even turn out better. Don't have too much hope to those who are dreaming.
