The sample count may not be in yet, but Workers’ Party supporters at the coffee shop at Block 322 Hougang Avenue 5 have already begun celebrating, singing Queen’s We are the Champions.

Cars driving by the two-lane road along the coffee shop are beeping their horns and revving their engines, and people are handing out beers as they chant “Worker’s Party”.

There are now hundreds of supporters in the area, with more streaming in.
