I think PAP tactical decision to hold election on 3rd May is a factor. Many ppl take leave Friday 2nd May and go for long weekend, and did not go and vote.

actually 2015 GE scarier than this election. WP almost lost aljunied in 2015. WP won comfortably in aljunied and sengkang during this election

I would say this is quite similar to 2006ge which is bad news cause we all know what happened after that .floodgate opened lol

That's how confident they are in their respective areas. Over here in BS-TPY, we also never see any candidates come to our area, incumbent or oppo.

My mum also asked me who are the new members (other than Chee Hong kia). I told her dunno, new faces. I know who she voted for in the end anyway.

Yeah loh WP now performed better now as compared to GE2015 and mosquito parties performed worse as compared to GE2015 means than Singaporeans still open to 2 party system. And somemore they survive RK and mango saga
