The main reason for PAP's landslide win is the huge swing against PSP.

PSP's results was the decisive factor.

Voters think TCB is too old and should retire from politics, there is also a big swing against other opposition parties like SDP, SPP, PAR, NSP and PPP

Can see places WP contested. The baseline is 40%. How to get over the line will be crucial. I believe is tough. Another 10% is not a easy task

I added all the wards that pap and Workers Party contested, pap got 356283 votes while Workers Party received 357763.

This means 49.9% PAP to 50.1% to Workers Party. This is a huge deal.

While there is a nationwide swing that allowed pap to win by ridiculous margin against those "mosquito parties", Workers Party maintained their vote shares and remain unscathed.

NSP and PPP lost all their election deposits in those contests, while RDU and SPP will get ready to fold if a 3-party fight happens with PAP, Workers Party and them.

Any 3 or 4 way fight will kill lol

Doing some napkin maths from singstat, assume now we at 3.7m citizens, if say we added 180k since 2020

citizens birth and death numbers, about 31k vs 23k death pa from 2020 to 2024

Can say we added over 100k matured new citizens. And include prior new citizens children coming to voting age. Just need gerrymander here and top up there.

Another winning strategy is LW took high ground, play defensive, less attacks on Oppos, papers keep show his and gky sad face, stuck with motherhood statements.

Singaporeans be it true blue or new citizen have little understanding of how to use their votes wisely. It's better for most opposition parties to disband and let them Walkover because save resources, time and money. .

Many are happy with one party rule even if there is many opposition presence
