Retain : Aljunied, hougang, sengkang

Sengkang % increased by 4%
tampines first time field 46%
punggol 45++%
jalan kayu smc first time field 48%

east coast drop by 5%
overall not bad?
opposition supporters should buy properties at these areas so Northeast and East side would all fall to opposition . Can give up on west side

WP chief Pritam Singh congratulated Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and the PAP on securing a strong mandate to lead Singapore in the next five years but also acknowledged that it was a difficult fight for the WP.

In a doorstop interview at Eunos Market at about 12.45pm today, he said the “challenges are real” for any opposition party in Singapore to make inroads into the political system.

He also paid tribute to his team members for their hard work, adding that the WP looks forward to serving all the residents in constituencies they have won – Aljunied, Sengkang, as well as Hougang.

PAP branded Pritam a liar...
They did. Some members of PAP was calling Pritam a liar, cannot be trusted blah blah...
Who actually, if I may ask.

hopefully it’s the kahkia low rank ppl. If it’s the cabinet ones, then it’s disappointing

Pritam really has the last laugh. PAP dragged on the stupid Raesah scandal for YEARS. In the end, voters didn't care about it and WP has not only retained all seats but also gained significant ground in 2 more constituencies.
Pappies tried to play up, it backfired.
Character assassination no longer works.

#GE2025: "The Business Times put out a note saying that there were quite alot of absentee voters in Tampines and Jalan Kayu right? And if some of them had been present and hypothetically voted for the WP, the result could have been different," said WP's Pritam Singh on Jalan Kayu SMC loss.

Pritam Singh already said in his rally speech that it is incredibly difficult for an opposition to flip a SMC/GRC held by a PAP incumbent, so no surprises they didn't flip any seats, even though they gave a good fight in Tampines and Jalan Kayu, but still a poor 38% win rate for WP if you consider the number of seats they contested and how many of those seats they won.

Hard for WP to flip PAP GRC/SMC, and it's equally hard (if not, harder) for PAP to flip WP held GRC/SMC.

Yeah. To scrape by with that slim a margin against a complete unknown new bird is pretty shameful.
basically that 2% margin is after u factor in
1) unknown, ridiculed here as a job hopper by some folks
2) fkingham palace incident.

if all IBs can do is to barely scrape a win for ntuc, its obvious put sylvia or someone more known its going to be 60%....probably. i made the status quo longshot + 1 smc bet predicting base on thinking sylvia, gerald or someone more established was going there. was kinda disappointed when i found it was a unknown. but he did give a good fight.......
