When MU says they target to win the EPL, everyone laughs at them. So they have to come up with another number. If they can improve their current place by 10 positions, it seems like a good target. They don't even think to qualify for the Champions League the proper way by being top 5.
I think if MU can avoid relegation, it will already be a good achievement by the team.
