The MS outlet closed a while ago right?

I had lunch there once cos it was one of the few restaurants that don’t have queue during peak hour, I guess cos the location at MS outlet was quite shiat (like at the corner of the link bridge).

CSJ was there also, he even came over and say thanks for coming.

Friendly person and good service, but food was average ba like astons level.
I guess it’s just a place for his peers to go la kopi with him.

Yes I am probably going to support his restaurant after work 1 of the weekdays this week, in case his restaurant closes down soon. You no need to worry.

Of course we will be talking about rental here, since when can you not talk about rental when opening and running a restaurant in SG one?
It is the biggest reason why so many F&B outlets are unsustainable right now. Just ask jeanette Aw, etc.

Somemore he ownself insist on self-absorbing 9% GST unlike many other restaurants that just either up price or cut down in quality/quantity.

yeap lol that is why me and my friends fixed for wed or thurs this week.
I am prepared for average food, as long as it is not kenny rogers-level of bad.

I ate kenny roger like 2 months ago, was surprised at how bad their waffles/ice-cream are.
Not cheap also, got gst/svc charge. My friend also shocked at how fast their food came out.

Machiam like pre-cooked then make hot one, was expecting like freshly cooked food.
Steaks, etc. are harder to cook actually. Guess I will try perhaps like fish and chips, etc. at orange & teal

He still need to tank GST? I thought GST only for companies with taxable turnover more than 1m.

He 1 small restaurant can hit 1m a year?

Now the rent situation is getting out of control liao. all these blood-sucking landlords like CDL/UOL/Capitaland/Far East/Fraser Property, etc. simply cannot stop hoarding money.



Wonder how many GCBs and BMWs/Contis/Maseratis and Luxurious Overseas Vacations, etc. do they need?

They wine and dine with good food, thinking of what luxurious items e.g handbags/perfume/skincare products/watches/sports shoes to buy for their family members and which Ivy League universities to send their kids to study PHDs (and rent an expensive house nearby for them)

Maybe their house all gold-plated one, who knows?

To be honest if the rental rate is high it’s because someone is willing to offer that rate. Else the lot will just be left empty.

Rental is high because the landlords keep jacking up, SG's policies are pro-rich and actively welcomes UNHWs (low wealth taxes, etc.) to park their wealth here.

Otherwise, how come those Tiong chains keep opening up 1 after another?

So those tenants whom cannot afford the rent will have to lan lan make away for these rich billionaires seeking to park their wealth via real estates, etc.

Proves that eggmy is very very wrong.
Since she retired, must make her prove rental does not affect food prices by forcing her to sell food, with 50% rental increment annually and she's not to adjust prices.
