i think so, very fast updated, cant even see the progress bar. the hynix app can show many info of all my ssd drives.

I also realise my other phison controller ssd is down to 99% life with only 4.9TB lifetime writes, while this p41 OS drive still 100% at 18 TBW....my other 3 years old silicon motion storage ssd still 100% with 8 TBW.

How many reallocated sector count? 1?

my last phison controller ssd had to rma with corsair...

I usually choose SSDs with Hynix, Samsung, or WD proprietary controllers. Go for Phison if you like flashy benchmark numbers.

If you consider the TBW rating of SSDs (600TBW for a 1TB drive), that’s an enormous amount of data which majority of people will never come close to hitting in their lifetime so the reality is that majority of SSDs are failing due to other aspects on the controller.

I wouldn't store too much important data on that SSD without backing up if i were you.

The SMART SSD life % is quite meaningless. It is calculated based on an algorithm that includes TBW, which is a number specified by the manufacturer. Practically, most SSDs survive well past the TBW.

phison seems to report fastest degradation, among wd, hynix, smi controllers i have

Not sure I've had my Seagate 530 SSD for the longest time over 2 years now sitting at 98% health and I still hit 7100/6900 read/write speeds with no effort. Mine is Phison E18 controller. Hynix uses their in-house Aries controller and WD uses their own one as well called Black G2. I don't think it's so much Phison based drives but the implementation of it. Hynix P41 one had issues but seems solved through firmware updates and the WD 850X seems pretty stable so far.

Indeed the only issue with the SN850X is a strange incompatibility with Ubiquiti Cloud Gateways. Otherwise, it has a great reputation.

Completely meaningless, I have an old Crucial P1 500GB with a 100TBW rating. It's now at 153 TBW and its health is still at a "Good" 29%. Working well with no spares touched.

You got your money's worth. :)

Comparing, my 500GB SSD is having a vacation.

I dont think local distro will honor oversea amd cpu, but the cpu packaging is so small that its not really an issue to send overseas, and from my experience rma sending overseas was a very good experience and also cheaper, head down to distro already cost me more money n time than sending oversea + these days they hire ppl that dont know their stuff.

Pretty decent FX rate.

If purchase Ryzen CPUs from amazon.com, will local AMD office honour RMAs for these imported units?
My guess is unlikely, I asked about a monitor bought from ASUS USA and they said warranty only applies to country of purchase.
