The current saga is because another china MotorVehicle CEO says there is a EverGrande in the auto industry and they speculated it is BYD.
But I more concern about their self-driving ability. so many videos on youtube of failures . but failure rate statistics not available for all self-driving cars to compare whehter it is only byd problem or even telsa. how high is the failure rate.

What is the obsession everyone seem to have with self driving cars?

There was a twitter thread where folk I assume from US were arguing about which city get first and and which system would be best.

if i am nissan or honda owner i wont worry if they toh because the spare parts are easily available.

also, they don't use as much electronic and software like EV, imagine EV is like a moving mobile phone,once the company toh you will run out of software update and the car will soon get Error #404 when you wake up one fine morning and power on you car.

Yes.. Never under estimate the supply chains, alot of brands build along the years... Replacement parts can be cheap... Like brakes, rotor, belts, bearings and etc...

If sole distributor... Have fun paying.. Even is a lower tier car.

Buy China brand then be prepared to handle the after sales service your own. Spare parts? Nope, hope you don't need to replace any.

After sales service is not a concept in China, people there treat EV as disposable item, spoil just replace with new one
