Post until don't want to post liao , but it's cheap ppl like cheap then later what ever happen is future problem, some ppl is buy 1st talk later ...
Think impression from some social media just in general it feels somewhat like one time use. Its not without its problem. But then kinda ok for local since, local mandated vehicle short lifespan. Many won't use too long to know what is what.

This video explains the ponzi scheme. One of many BYD used to inflate car sales figures.

The fact is Chinese car manufacturer overproduced and it will takes decades to clear the entire inventory from the used market. Making it very hard for Chinese manufacturers to sale new cars. Especially when those "used Chinese EV" are basically brand new with zero milage.

Think the danger is in the subsidy given to businesses to push certain market. If not carefully vetted. There will be loophole(s) where businesses can make use of to skirt around it without seriously producing any concrete result. Thus giving false impression of success. Its not that uncommon in many places.

Vaguely reminded read story about last time how one ang-mor brand grow big on failures. Cause think the ang-mor ruling try to boost the economy of sort, thus give money for businesses set up. Therefore think its goes something like that brand expanded at a rapid rate using the money the ruling given from the past businesses to set up the next. Without really needing to come out much money of own. So, even if the business wasn't good at first, the expansion sort of pushed the brand up also. That was how the brand gain success initially of sort.

See local the lifelong learning thingy. Think there is not short of story about how people just set up lame courses to get to that money. But impression from many comments, seems like they don't really give as much value to the learner.

And you know most of the things you are using are Made in China?

Precisely . Even airbus has manufacturing facility there

100% China owned and operated manufacturing facilities, vs manufacturing facilities with foreign ownership and management are two different things. Don't even try to muddle this fact.

Japan also has manufacturing facilities in China. Everything from factory design, machinery layout, staff trained based on Jap doctrine, supply chain, production, QA, and aftersales are controlled by the Jap team.

And the product is as you rightfully claimed "Made in China".

True. China is the world factory. Many big brands have facilities over there. It's the management and QC that matters. Not about product origin.

Given our local hot and humid conditions, don't know can even last that long within the "short lifespan" or not, without potentially causing major safety issues.

It is a pattern by now.. one thing popular, then everybody start doing until kill itself aka 内卷.. that is why they have to 倾销海外, thus upsetting other auto manufacturer overseas, I think within China they also got a lot of competition...

They can promise the sky and earth warranty and give you whatever gimmicky features, but end of the day Tiong do things is hit-and-run one.

Those who play DJI drones one will know what I’m talking about.

is it bc byd sell cheap and profit margin is too thin
they dont care about profit margin.....they just use the same stunt pulled by Evergrande....except instead of properties, they used cars.

make cars, sell cars to themselves, using the order receipts as collaterals... they go to lenders or investors to seek more funding.....meanwhile leeching money all the way through the supplier/production line with their friends and buddies. those "sold cars" will be sitting in carparks and will be resold as 0 km "2nd hand" cars to recoup as much $$ as possible....or to sinkies in SG.

the game will keep going until the capital injection/lending stops.

👆 Just read the article. Notwithstanding workmanship and quality assurance issues for this new car mentioned in the article, if materials are also prone to fast corrosion and perish, more system may fail. Even the program in the ECU for a new car is not well conceptualized. Coupled with a soft car body, spells a very risky prospect. All EV has risk, but a strong car body is an added safety feature.

Flood the market with products using other people money, and individual/s control the OEM parts supply after company toh. Text book based, happens everywhere.
