cheap is cheap but dont feel safe there

agrees, just stay low profile..

just think long term..
like my case, my coe gonna expire in few years time..
looking at the trend, easily gonna cost 100k++
if i were to use this money in malaysia, i probably can buy a better car..
should i want to return to sg, just take MRT..
or hire a malaysian chap to drive me back to SG, using my own car...

The hard truth is that there will be higher demand for labour in JB.

If the supply does not increase, the pay will need to increase.

That will make it more expensive to operate.

The places which depend on the RTS may be like Forest City shopping area.

Forest City is still mostly a ghost town.

Singaporeans are picky.

Want cheap, want fresh and want the bigger...

should extend to 24 hours.
that one might not be possible... i think daily 3 hours of maintenance for the whole station (any cleaning, and repair and what nots) is good .

the problem is whether the rail operators want to employ more people to comb the tracks.. or use new technology to monitor track condition thruout the day or not... then no need people to comb the track for repairs.

S$100k+ for a COE is the budget to retire 10 years earlier in MY.

i.e. S$1k a month ($3.3k RM) x 12 months x 10 years.

I bought a condominium near the RTS, where I will stay, and then take a shuttle bus to the RTS to come to Singapore occasionally.

It's the garment QUIET way to drive sinkies to move to JB.

RTS, SEZ, Woodlands Checkpoint upsizing by 5 times.

Solve:
- High housing prices.
- Want to own car.
- High medical costs.

Brilliant.
