Nah bruh, sensor detect as full depends entirely on how your pucks land inside the container. There are times when just after 2 shots i.e. 2 pucks, the container full, because the 1st puck landed 45degs at the side and the 2nd puck dropped on top of the 1st and didn’t slide/roll down.

There will also be some dripping inside when you do a manual rinse and/or when you switch off the machine it does the short rinse before it switches off. That water also contributes to mold.

My clean-up after making a coffee, to me is no different from using a portafilter type machine already … maybe even more. Which is why I’m toying with the idea to switch to one :o

Yes, but generally about every 2 days the pucks indicator will light up

As in 4 pucks? Okay ba. But the point was, leaving the pucks steaming inside + the drips from rinsing before switching off the machine, leads to mold growing … for me I’m not taking any chances after experiencing it once, so once make finish 1 coffee and switch off, I empty out and wash both brewgroup and the drip tray/container … which makes the process of making 1 coffee, no less tedious than using a portafilter type machine, and why I feel like, might as well switch to 1 of those.

for me i clean it everyday after drinking. I sun-dried the used coffee grounds, kept it inside ikea zip lock bags.

I repurpose it as a deodoriser. Make into small packets, put into the shoe cabinet, put into a bag to absorb smell. Put into the cabinet to serve as a dehumidifier. Very effective. I have read online, some used as facial scrub very effective. Can use as natural scrub for your oily stains. Some parts I use for my plants as natural fertiliser, my plants grew super well, flowering a lot.

Now Sun is very hot. Everyday I dry my coffee beans, by evening, dried to an extreme liao

The SKU number is BCC02BLMUK. This is the earlier BCC02 SKU number, Black and intended for the UK market.

So far mine is working fine. I don't have such issue like coffee powder spilling inside the brew group as below. Picture taken from amazon.sg

Better to buy locally otherwise may have difficulty to contact amazon seller in case of issues
Oh this is sold and shipped locally from Amazon sg... may/may not come with warranty though...

I just emptied and counted the number of pucks. Look like can hold 6 pucks for the SMEG

After the cleaning of my machine I’m back to making at least 1 cup a day … I’m also back to collecting the grounds, now got 3/4 of a dabao container full … this will be sent to my mother when I bring my kids to visit, to be used as fertilizer for her plants.

But yeah recently empty out, it will dry out in a day … next cup empty out the 2 shots of grounds on top of the previous, also next day dried out. Earlier this year not so dried out … some times bring to my mother’s place she don’t use it until a week or 2 later see inside already moldy

Just tried the Brazil Cerrado from Fresh Cafe (Tiong Hoe) after a week of degassing.

Indeed better than the ones I get from my market Brazil arabica beans. Much fresher, not so acidic and as sourish. Lots of creama even from my fully automatic delonghi coffee machine.

Today 6.6 got sale, maybe people can start stocking up again.

Which penang seller on Laz? I recently discovered Brazil maritaca Santos by Soji Coffee on Lazada. Very decently priced too less than $30 for 1 kg and the seller packs it in 2x500gm bags.

I just got some beans from Yunnan, if anyone wants some (maybe 60g) let me know. Good for espresso shots at least (I always use 16 - 20g per americano/latte depending on beans).

Bambino. Theres also alot of products that resembles bambino at the moment out there also.
spend more to get a quality grinder. Its what makes the biggest difference.
Agreed... A quality grinder is more important then the espresso machine.
