Actually getting married is simple. The customs TS mentioned actually isn't recognized under the law.

You simply have to register your marriage of 2 persons, then come signing time both parties present with 2 witnesses ok liao. About 3 months wait in total iirc.

Divorce then mafan. Need to apply for separation first, undergo counseling, time reach liao then can apply for divorce. Agar 3 years in total.

Like the Chinese customs, I don't factor in fight over matrimonial assets etc.

The Part where i feel funny is. everyone celebrate when you married. and you show, post, IG etc to the world.
But when you divorced, you wish noone in the world know. and later on show, post, IG how you been dump, played out, left with kids, xiao san, xiao si, etc.
