I bought it for RM223K in 1992. Now, the market price is RM500K and above. But I'm not selling it.

I remembered reading your postings about you staying in JB while your son was studying in an international school in JB many years before Covid 19 Pandemic. I think you son has graduated already and now working in SG because remembered reading your posting about it too.

I have seen the development in JB from old JB Checkpoint to the new JB Checkpoint CIQ. I have seen Lido Beach before it was reclaimed, then reclaimed for development and after Covid 19 I see JB is developing again like before Covid 19 Pandemic. And I have seen and experience PM of Malaysia administration changes from PM Mahathir to the current PM Anwar.

You have lived and experienced the life and lifestyle in JB/Malaysia. I don't have to say much because I know you like the lifestyle here too like I do too. Make the answer short its going to be like in the past when you lived in JB before Covid 19 Pandemic but it is going to be much more better.

I love to share nice food.
Since I couldn’t share with my “jb dad” anymore, I moved to share with my foreign tenants. Sometimes is sg famous food and sometimes is nice jb food.

As my kids are working in sg, I have to spend time with them.
Only a few days here and most of the days in sg.

Talking about staying in jb.
Reminded me of my 2 of my fondest jb neighbours.
One passed on after a year stay, and another had heart problem and returned to sg.
He should b in his late 80s and passed on already.
Missed the black pepper crabs he cooked in the feast for us.
Looked up to him as our dad and shared some food with him regularly:
His wife and daughter in law told us to stop contacting him cos he preferred us to his own kids.
I understand their concerns and had since left them alone since they returned to sg.
Missed this old man. Had short temper but he was endearing to us.
Hope he is happy where he is .

Well, some of my Singaporean neighbours in my housing estate has passed over too. Then the wife or kids rented it out to those Malaysians working in JB or SG. Some sold off their property. Now my neighbours are mainly Malaysians and Malaysians with SPR status. Most if them working in SG and some have business in JB.

yeah is more China than Singapore half the MM2H visa holders abt 25K were PRC.

Singapore less than 1k.

The total number, 60k of holders is not even a spectacular number

More international tourists would visit JB from SG too. Then from there they would venture up north by land before going to Thailand either by KTM Railway Train or by Coaches. Some probably would fly from Senai Airport to Indonesia like Surabaya, Jakarta and Sumatera or Vietnam or China or vise versa.
