DA:V is horrendous and perfect mix of woke shiat and corp incompetence by EA
putting the woke shiat aside
EA push bioware to turn DA from single player to MP live service, something bioware neh do before
bioware llst do it, kenna backlash or something
EA do a ke belakang pusing and demand bioware to go back from live service to single player with a 18 month deadline
but the whole game is already made for live service, changing to single player mean have to more or less redo the entire game but there is no time
so they do a Frankenstein shiat of a job and this is how DA:V is born

The history is fake nonsense... the guy who wrote the book quote from sources that he himself put on Wikipedia.. yes.. ownself quote ownself... but there are some Japanese games or series that took inspiration and included a black samurai Yasuke but they never claim it is true history or anything though.

I get it. Yes, yasuke is not a proven samurai according to japanese history, more like a slave/retainer to nobunaga but sell back to Jesuits.

It seems like all the problem people are talking about you never even go watch some video on why and just keep questioning it here...

One of the main gripes people have is forcibly inserting a black MC in ancient Japan.. instead of a Japanese guy... that is part of the woke DEI strategy a lot of games companies are doing... it is fine if they do an entire new game with story revolving a black character... but do it on a long established franchise like Assassin Creed where most of the past MC actually fits into the historical setting... you can call it innovative if you like..

But gamers are people who will not buy if they dun like... as simple as that...

This is not the first example of them hijacking an established franchise and insert their ideology into it..

AC shadow did some have re-vamp after a delay... so I reckon the original script might have been worse...

I will say, its a strategy to create an uproar on japanese history so that they might gain more traction? Im not a businessman so i not sure why they do that.

Then they need to tick the LGBT checkbox also.... so make guys gay and girls lesbian...
