a lot of prc setting up operations in malaysia from trading durians to nvidia chips with a lot of patriotic malaysian chinese help too. there are many questions asked in malaysia.

prc operation in sg is much more subdued. even the recent money laundry case and chip case got quite heavy handed punishment from sg gov.

Last yr when the SEZ was launched. Both sides revealed that the real plan was to create a BTO SEZ project, it's all built on demand and the centre stage was for developing AI and data centres for Singapore companies. So it appears that the service comes from Singapore but run in JB. The gain for us was running data centres use up alot of space, water and electricity but creates very little jobs.

Even sleepy Joe woke from his sleep and immediately signed executive order to put both Singapore, Malaysia as well as many countries on restricted list. He restricts the sale of high-end AI chips and running on proprietary large scale AI in those countries.

Now is specifically restrict Malaysia. It can't be a high tech industrial zone. Think the JB SEZ can convert to pig farm already. :s13:

Singapore also smart, just a few days ago Gan Kim Yong said that for such SEZ partnership, 2 is better than 1, 3 better than 2.
Talked about SEZ in batam Indonesia. So fast throw Malaysia under the bus liao. :s13:
