if u are looking just to use... u can look at A520mb if u have abit more money u can looking at B550...
the cpus with G means it comes with igpu....
i think u saw the 7500F does not come with igpu that is AM5 (A620 , X670E , X670 , B650E , B650 , X870E , X870 , B840 , B850)

I think the 7600 comes with iGPU, but just enough for display/office work
7600F is no iGPU at all

The G series, like 8600G, have a larger iGPU suitable for gaming.

So yup, I'll be looking at probably Ryzen 7 G series and B550 mobo. I went to look at the link - https://www.amd.com/en/products/processors/desktops/ryzen.html#tabs-0eb49394b2-item-446166865a-tab and I don't see any 7 series has G suffix de, Am I looking at the wrong thing?

-f suffix definitely has no igpu, so avoid if not buying dgpu.
for ryzen 5000 series and earlier (am4), only those with -g suffix (eg 5500gt, 5700g) have igpu. these are what i refer to as am4 g series.
for ryzen 7000 series and later (am5), simply avoid those with -f suffix (for now 7400f, 7500f, 8400f, 8700f), everything else have igpu.

From someone who have done the SFF route, I recommend avoiding ITX or minipc type builds.

Because, minipc, if there is a problem, have to replace whole system most likely.

And for ITX, as time goes by this sized mobos become very hard to find or not available at all.

I would go MATX with basic iGPU or something better with the G series, and a nice thin casing like the Tecware Core Mini. Can replace everything, and less heartache.

That's my main worry also, that's why I'm more likely to go with normal build

for sure. b580 stock is kinda iffy though, looks like its gone from dynacore price list. brand new alternatives from amd and nvidia are also not great at this price point, so if u are able to recycle ur psu and ssd then u should spend those savings on something like a 9060xt 16gb.

Might even be able to save some more and reuse my existing PSU (8 ish years?) but also gotta check the the watts O:

7000 series does not have g series. ryzen 5/7/9 does not refer to the gen but rather the tiering, much like i3/i5/i7. b550 is am4, so u will need to look at 5000 series or earlier.

Just change my PSU to Superflower 1000W Platinum 80+ last week. So far is ok no issue.

My ROG 750W could not sustain my ARGB build. Tats y change to a higher Watt.

more than enough for sure. i am on 9600x pbo on. 9060xt 16gb. i used 650 750 850 no issue

With not much components/peripherals, is more than enough.

As long u dun touch ARGB,AIO coolers and PC case monitor, it should able to sustain.

I assume my ROG 750W can sustain too. However, I can't power on so I go get a 1000W PSU.

And it works fine now. My ROG 750W is in another PC with lesser ARGB and it works too : running R7 5800X

cpu will be ultra 265k paired with rx 9060 xt 16gb, will be planning to do some overclocking for the cpu

only 1 motherboard argb port will be used for the aio, else all the rgb fans will be connected to the nzxt control hub controller

still pondering if to get 850w or just straight to 1000w

u can start with the supreme s19 98x3d + 5090, then add the gskill flare x5 2x 32gb 6000mhz cl30, tryx panorama 360, x870e aorus elite ice and 2tb 990 pro (ssd upgrade not addon). the ram is more well suited for am5 cpus (7200mhz sounds better but u have to use 1:2 uclk to mclk which introduces latency) and u get more of it, u get an actually good looking and performing aio (thanks @KleoZy !) and a proper high end tlc ssd that doesnt crap the bed the moment u try actually loading stuff into it. if ur ok with not having the curved aio display, u can settle for some of the thermalright lcd aio options and (if u wish) spend the saving on a 9100 pro, either way is just under 6k.

u probably dont need additional fans, since they already provide 4 and the aio has 3, filling up all the fan slots on the case. i do have to note that the 5090 ventus is probably one of the worse models in terms of noise and temperatures, though u can select the suprim liquid for an additional 1k (strangely all the other air cooled models are 2k top ups ), overall "only" around 7k and way better than what aftershock offers. i dont even know if this is worth paying almost double vs a 5080 pc though.

Thanks, NightRaven. I had a Supreme S10 build with the 5090 Suprim + 9800x3d in my cart for awhile, but I was too slow and didn't manage to checkout before Invader changed their bundles. Ended up getting a build through someone on Carousell
