Room temperature is between 21 deg C and 22 deg C but your body temperature is between 36.5°C and 37.5°C.

Anyway all oil eaten will be digested by the stomach acid and turn oil into sh*t.
Exactly, a lot of folks think the oil would coagulate in our bodies 😄

They forget or don't know basic science like melting point etc

Just my 2 cents...

Go for gastroscopy and colonscopy once when you are 45 (earlier also can) to get a peace of mind. Dont be afraid of the prep and laosai. Cost can be covered by insurance.

I was afraid of the prep, laosai, and colonscopy and delayed it for about 3 years or so after blood is present in FIT. Then, I got recurring piles and finally decided to request for colonscopy this year and found only one polyp. But unfortunately, it turns out to be a stage 3 cancer at age 49 (turning 50 this year). Within 4 months, I have been through surgery and chemotherapy.

If I went for colonscopy much earlier, perhaps its just at pre-cancer stage or stage 1.

I know there are people who keep laughing at people who do colonscopy. But I think best not to, you wont know which day you will need to poke your backside frequently to check.

Lastly, sometimes private practice may be good for only colonscopy. But follow up like surgery etc may not be as good. My friend had complications and now seeking treatment at govt hospital.

what was the size of your polyp?

based on my understanding, more than 3cm is considered large

I think we need to reduce processed food, refined sugar and vegetable cooking oil

Someone also mentioned microplastics but it's everywhere these days :(
i used to think processed food are mainly those ham, bacon, sausages etc....but then i slowly start to realise almost everything we eat now is processed

Anything more than 1cm is not good i think.

The colonscopy report indicated that the flat polyp was bigger than 2cm. The tumour removed was about 3.7cm.

Yes, unless we assemble the ingredients ourselves, almost everything we buy outside in a supermarket is highly processed

The worst culprits are snacks like biscuits, instant beverages and ready-to-eat food

I have recurring piles for more than 10 yrs and did colonoscopy in 2015 but found out only piles. Even until now once in awhile still have blood and sometimes a lot. I don’t feel any fatigue except from work. I can still do 4 hrs of intense cardo a wk. but like what u suggested a ployp can turn cancerous makes me want to go check again

Yes, please check every 5 years or less. Dont wait 10 years. I also only feel fatigue from stressful work, some low blood and BMI within range. I can hike for few hours when I go for overseas tour. Well...

Ya thanks for the post. Will go check soon. I suspect the piles originated from ns cos in outfield can don’t ps for 5 days then back in camp release everything then strained a lot. Now the piles reoccurring for more than a decade like chabor having period like that also quite worrying

You ask your insurance agent? I only have that CPF integrated shield plan and its covered.

I have tried out different piles med. Let me know if you need medication.

But at same time, please do a colonscopy. I asked my friend to go and she thanked me cos found out she had inflammation in stomach and few polyps.

You got to stop straining during your bowel movements. And fibre makes it worse.you need fats like etra virgin olive for quick fix. Get a stool to prop up your legs to assume a squatting position.

Piles are enlarged blood vessels. intermittent fasting plays a huge role in shrinking it permanently.

Personal experience.

Currently not needed. When I have blood in my stool they usually go away after a few days with no pain. My worse was sharp pain in rectum when passing out and burning sensation but that was very long ago. Think I’m gg for gastroscopy and colonoscopy
