So sad upgraded to star plan. If i don't want to pay $10 a month, and don't want port out, can only give up this number let it die, correct?

friend ported out to simba. he very happy now.

Legally speaking, they must give the prepaid card users a proper and reasonably acceptable exit plan. Otherwise it's an abuse of consumer's rights. But consumer rights is dead in Singapore under the PAP's governance.

Anyone bought Singtel top up from Shopee seller ''GadgetAffair" before?

It is the only seller which offer cashbach now but not much reviews & want buyer to choose (Store Collection) as delivery option instead of usual Virtual good via app/email, that sound odd to me.

I did complain with this number about the forced conversion..
on the other line, i did not.. will only know when they convert it from prepaid to star plan..

1 month had passed since SH forced converted my line and deduct my balance for SUBSCRIPTION first time
Good points
1. SH 5G data is definitely faster than Simba
Probably faster than SH prepaid 4G (I feel)
2. kept the promise of discount *for now*
3. No more random deduction for VOLTE or restarting my phone

Bad points
1. Simba while slower, have less blind spot than SH (in MRT)
2. Roaming is more expensive
3. Of course, cannot beat Simba in terms of generosity in roaming countries or data given

Star plan roaming
1GB 3 days $6
2GB 30 days $16		Prepaid roaming
1GB 1 week $8
10GB (1GB roaming) 4 weeks $10

bought this SH prepaid long time ago for roaming and being "golden number"
Still waiting for my other line to be force converted, and see if similar discount is given

Anyone using Singtel hicard and recently used $3 IDD to extend the validity? Does it still work for extending 6 mths?

Just noticed my ST prepaid have dropped ~$4 main balance over 2 mths and finally decided to call in.
heng heng spoke to a nice CSO, explained that i'm using this SIM for OTP only and not any calls/sms/data.
She checked my account's 2 mths records and verified its all 6c data charges, and asked how long i've been facing this, which i said since years maybe.
She agar backtracked my account history and proceed to do a +$20 adjustment and 10gb data (6mths) as "data protection"
Explained that ever since the 3g network cessation there''ll be such inherent data charging via 4g/5g due to "how things works"

my lucky day to get a good CSO :o

For starhub prepaid those who received $3 plan on star plan, did it come in a SMS and any code to apply? Sadly mine seems to be $10 a month
