The feeling of iin such situation is terrible, you feel betrayal, you feel lousy, you feel fook,.

It’s better to ask what have you done to others than to ask what others have done to you.

Like that hopefully wont feel so miserable.

Don't say colleagues, sometimes friends also like that.
I dnt gossip.
I do my own things.

Free. Come in edmw.

Only listen to the colleagues gossiping especially my lead.

Yes the person who resign wanted to sabotage one of my team mate, but he nvr thought I am part of the team too. It is just setting firs to the house he gonna sabotage but we also stay in the house too.

I've seen very good friends whom worked in the same company, within a year start backstabbing each other and saying bad things to me about one another. Best friends better don't work in same company and worst, same Dept.

Good friends will never work together. Same goes to those a few came out to setup companies themselves, by pooling money into it. As time passes, good friends in JV, becomes enemies. All too often due to money issues.

Your colleagues are not your friends. This is regardless of how they might appear to you. Be especially wary of people who "bro" you here and there, and people who tell you "don't worry, I don't play politics one".

Young Fann Wong already knew this.

Yeah, I’ve seen this happen before — and honestly, it can be one of the most jarring lessons in working life.
When things are going smoothly, some colleagues do feel like friends — you share jokes, cover for each other, even help each other out in tough times. But when pressure, blame, or career survival kicks in, some people flip. Self-preservation takes over, and suddenly, the bond you thought was solid becomes disposable.
It’s not always because they’re “bad people” from the start. Sometimes fear of losing their job, wanting to protect their image with the boss, or not knowing how to handle trouble makes them throw someone else under the bus. Still, it hurts — because it makes you question whether any of that earlier camaraderie was real. That’s why a lot of people say colleagues are not necessarily your friends. Work friendships can be genuine, but they exist inside an environment where politics, competition, and self-interest can shift behaviour overnight.

Bottom line: trust, but with boundaries. Keep the warmth, share the laughter — but don’t hand over your whole emotional bank account in the workplace.

Don’t say colleague la.

My father used to say if you can have five good friends who stick with you for life through thick and thin, you are very lucky liao.

I told a friend this and he said my father was wrong. If you can find ONE, you are very lucky liao. Some people never find any, even though they are married
Your father and friend very wise.

Can keep that 1 friend :ROFLMAO:.
