Just upgraded to 10G plan. They gave me this model. The last port is a SFP module. Is it only LAN 3 and LAN 4 are 10G? If I get a SFP RJ45 connector, will it be also 10G?
My ONR is the ZTE model and it has only one 10G port then LAN 1-4, which I’m unsure what speed they run. From ZTE to this TPLink already take up the 10g port, means I’m left with only one more 10G port to use? If I mesh it with the other TPLink, it means I’ll have no more 10G port on this main router is it?

Yes.

HB810, only two 10G ports can be used. The SFP+ port is basically useless in this case, as it is a combo port. If you use the 10G RJ45 WAN Port, the SFP+ port become not functioning.

All the ISP issued XGS-PON ONTs and XGS-PON ONRs will have only one 10G capable port.

All the ISP bundled 10G capable wireless routers will have the same problem. They only have two 10G ports, one for the WAN and then the other for LAN.

If you need more 10G devices, you have to buy a 10G capable switch.

This is basically true for all consumer routers, including the expensive ones like Asus ROG GT-BE98.

Thanks Master. So for the ZTE ONR Lan1-4, they are at 1G or 2.5G only?

Thanks shifu, so I guess I have to get a 10Ge switch since I am not too particular about the router. but sadly most 10g switch are more than S$200.. oh well. Life.

Download the zip and extract the bin file. You will see that it is for meant v1.20 too.
ah!!!
They have 2 selections in the pulldown menu, Hardware v1 and v1.60.

Either one will work properly for my v1.2?

Hmm, in this case, better confirm with TP-Link Singapore before proceeding.

My Archer BE805 HW revision is V1.

Most likely it will work, but better to play safe.

Anyone here faces the same issue as me? After updating latest firmware for Archer BE805 through the tether app, can no longer get an internet connection.

Try factory resetting, during set up it kept prompting internet port is not connected to WAN port though it’s already connected.

managed to flash it to 1.3.

Works ok but this version did not resolve my issue.
I am resorting to scheduling daily reboots now. sigh.

Your issue is strange.

How many devices you have for the Archer BE805?
How many 2.4GHz only (like IoT devices) you have?
Are you using MLO?
Are you using other FW features like VPN Server/Client?

How many devices you have for the Archer BE805? - maybe 15 or so
How many 2.4GHz only (like IoT devices) you have? - i would reckon 3 to 5?
Are you using MLO? - I disabled it. Speedtest was slower on 5 and 6ghz channels when it is enabled. Even the MLO SSID was not great
Are you using other FW features like VPN Server/Client? - nope

early this morning did a speedtest after the reboot and was getting 2.1gbps.
if I wait about 2 days, it will confirm will go down to 900mbps if no reboot is done.

What’s the normal memory usage for be805? I see it’s always at 51%? Like even when only 5 devices or 10 devices still 51%, bug or normal?
