I have a feeling that the prankster/scammer has some form of mental illness due to the singular fixation on "150" as well as "army" and "bedok camp". Probably autistic.

Most scammers would actually vary the details of their story so as to keep the ruse up for longer. This one doesn't seem like they are even seriously trying.

:(

This is how loan shark operates, always order the items for the person owing money to their address. Doubt it’s autistic, more like targeted move

The method can be the same but usually they will try to give different details each time. If this person keeps using 150/bedok camp army all the time, sooner or later people will catch on and it would become "ineffective". Why not say from SCDF or SPF or some other gahment organisation? Or even say from a different camp? Why 150 orders each time, why not 101, 105, 200, etc?

Why autistic? This confuses me

One characteristic of autism is an intense fixation on certain details (be it people, objects, numbers, etc). They tend to have a need for consistency and repetition. Of course, not all autistic people have such a trait but it is a common one.

From the kind of shops that were involved, I dont think its a si ginna. Otherwise, will have more ginna stuff like BBT lah, those franchise restaurants etc.

And the shops so far seem to be Sinkie self-own, no franchise, no big names. The guy know who hes aiming for.

Possibly a scam, but the end result so far is that he doesnt turn up and collect.

Maybe is really someone pissed off with Bedok Camp? 🤔

Hope they catch this fellow soon.

That’s the strange part. According to the news, it’s a lot of effort on the part of the scammer to maintain these big orders. It’s not just 1 message kind, the scammer also follow up to make sure the food items are prepared then go missing
