Restricted from accessing even their own bank accounts and singpass? Then how those people going to live? I get the intention but that's practically asking them to live off the grid like a caveman since nearly everything requires digital, even salary is credited into account. I assume that they would at least still be allowed to withdraw cash with permission from the authorities.

they misused the trust with regards to Singpass usage, of course have to take away that access from them.

It's not about being practical, they have to be taught about the consequences.

Like I said, I have no issue with it if they are still able to withdraw some money with permission from the authorities. My train of thought was that some of them could have children and they could also be the only breadwinner.

Always never catch the masterminds. Will always happen again. Catching mules is useless because it is human nature to be tempted and make poor decisions.
