then u are lucky. i brought my airpods pro 1 to the genius baron the launch day, they took out 2 buds from brown box and replace it for me. it is never a 1 to 1 replacement based on my experience. they will not swap the entire set for a brand new one, but just replace your faulty part

I'm ok with the brown box. First day, can't be there's already refurbished unit. And, I still get 1 year warranty like brand new.

for people who don't like brown box, best to get direct from Apple bah.

This was my experience for APP1. The first version was problematic. Always got the high pitch static sound. I replaced it 3 times I think? The kind staff also gave me the additional set of replacement eartips.
